Blessed Stanley Rother Feast Day – Archdiocese of Oklahoma City

The Feast Day for Blessed Stanley Rother is July 28. There will be a week of activities to commemorate the Shepherd Who Didn’t Run.
In addition to the Feast Day schedule, daily Mass will be celebrated at 12:15 p.m. Monday – Saturday, and tours in English and Spanish will be available 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29.
Fr. Don Wolf will lead the evening prayers in honor of Blessed Stanley Rother at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25 (Spanish) and Wednesday, July 26 (English).
The family day and picnic will include games, a puppet show, bounce houses and more!

Kicking off the 2023 Bl. Stanley Rother Feast Day week is the Life of St. Pedro Maldonado musical at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 22 at Randall University Auditorium, 3701 I-35 South Service Rd. in Moore. The performance is in Spanish.
San Pedro de Jesus Maldonado Lucero, was a Catholic priest born on June 15, 1892, in the City of Chihuahua in Chihuahua, Mexico.
“During the Religious Persecuting of Christians between the years of 1926-1937, Fr. Maldonado had to flee from the police and government agents who constantly persecuted him. At one point, he was forced to seek refuge in the City of El Paso, but his vocation was stronger than his fears and he returned to minister to his people of Santa Isabel.”
