Flood advisory issued for Harris County on Thursday


A flood advisory is in effect for parts of Harris and Fort Bend counties until 5 p.m. Thursday as thunderstorms delivering heavy rainfall rolled through the Houston metro area.

Under a flood advisory, urban and small stream flooding is expected in low-lying areas and spots with poor drainage, the National Weather Service said.
