Houston natives Beyonce and Kelly Rowland give back

HOUSTON — Texas natives and global superstars, Beyonce Knowles-Carter and Kelly Rowland, are giving back to their hometown in a big way.

Two-thirds of the former pop and R&B girl group, Destiny’s Child, will provide 31 new housing units and support to those in need. In a joint effort with Harris County, the new permanent complex will be in Houston’s midtown neighborhood.
