• Gleaners Community Food Bank food distribution event is at the Oakland County Farmers Market, 9-11 a.m. July 12, while supplies last, for those in need. • Volunteers of America Michigan’s Operation Backpack will host its 14th annual back-to-school fundraising drive to collect and distribute new backpacks full of grade-specific supplies to children who live in low-income households.
