Toughest high school football conferences/districts/leagues/regions heading into 2023


With the High School Football America 300 preseason national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, keeping fans talking about the upcoming season, we thought it would be a good time to throw another log on the conversation fire.

Today, we use our proprietary to rank the top conferences/districts/leagues/regions heading into the season.

Southern California’s Trinity League heads into the 2023 campaign as the No. 1 league in the nation, followed by the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference’s Capital Conference at No. 2 and the New Jersey Super Football Conference’s United Red at No. 3.

Five Trinity League schools are in the Top 300, led by No. 1 Mater Dei and No. 2 St. John Bosco. Orange Lutheran is No. 57, followed by JSerra at No. 98 and Santa Margarita at No. 111. Only Servite isn’t ranked in the the HSFA 300.
